Ronald Joe "Ronnie" Lickliter
November 17, 1957 ~ October 6, 2023

Ronald (Ronnie) Joe Lickliter, 65, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma. He was born November 17, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Guy Avery and Ruby Colleen Lickliter. Although they lived in Drumright, Oklahoma at the time.

He served a small stint in the Army. He started working in the oilfield at a young age and throughout most of his life. He married the love of his life, Nola Hopkins, on October 22, 1982, in Perry, Oklahoma. Establishing a home in Covington, Oklahoma and later moving to Enid, Oklahoma.

Ronnie loved fishing, camping, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan and most notably known for being an OU Sooner fan.

Ronnie is survived by Nola of the home; his mother Ruby Colleen; and his son, Michael Avery. He leaves behind 3 grandchildren: Rylinn Marie, Michael Avery, and Harper Elizabeth. Additionally, Ronnie is survived by four sisters and four brothers: Diane, Sharon, JoAnn, Kim, Rusty and his wife Melody, Roy, Ricky and his wife Deanna, and Tony and his wife Pam.

He is preceded in death by his father; Guy Avery, a beloved stepfather that impacted his life greatly; Dale Lawson, and one brother; Billy Sabastian.

Services will be held on Oct 13th at 2pm in Covington Oklahoma at the First Babtist church located at 215 Jefferson St. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
