Violet May (Rutherford) Lick, a Coalgate resident, was born on September 22, 1947, to Bert C. Rutherford and Pearl Faye (Compton) Tisdale, at Oroville, California. She passed away on May 26, 2026, at Ada, Oklahoma, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 4 days. Violet attended school at Plano. She married Jimmy Wayne Lick on January 22, 1968, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. They were blessed with 58 years together where was a loving homemaker and housewife. Violet enjoyed cooking, sewing and going to the casino. She loved being outdoors and going fishing.
