January 7, 1953 - September 4, 2021

A memorial service for Rick Lester, 68 of Enid will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Jackson officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Rick was born January 7, 1953 in Temple, Texas to Max Edwin and Bonita Bell (Burks) Lester and passed away on Saturday September 4, 2021 in Enid at his home.

Rick graduated from Enid High School in 1971. On November 7, 1983 he married Brenda Georges. Rick was an avid comic book collector, and his favorite TV show was Gold Rush. Two of his hobbies were assembling detailed super hero models and he loved the challenge of solving puzzles.

Rick is survived by his wife Brenda Lester; his daughter Emma Schlais; 2 grandchildren Nathan and Rowland; and his brother Mark Lester.

He was preceded in death by his parents Max and Bonnie.
