Marino Gregory Leonetti

Marino Gregory Leonetti
August 18, 1950 ~ January 3, 2010

Greg Leonetti, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the Ponca City Medical Center. He was 59. 

Marino Gregory Leonetti was born on August 18, 1950 in Los Angeles, California to Marino Eugene Leonetti and Patricia L. Peterson Leonetti. He graduated from Valley High School in Santa Ana, California. After serving in the United States Army he moved to Ponca City in 1974. He owned and operated an auto mechanic garage called TuneUps Plus. Greg married Sharon Kay Spore on October 16, 1976 in Ponca City. 

Those who knew Greg will remember him as a kind and generous man. To him, no one was a stranger. 

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kay of Ponca City mother, Patricia of Ponca City brother, Michael Leonetti and wife, Leah of Glenwood Springs, Colorado his inlaws, Alvin and Cleta Spore Terri and Kenny James Barbara and David Evans all of Ponca City as well as many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Marino and brother, Stephen Alan Leonetti. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at RCB Pioneer Main Bank, 1223 E. Highland Ave., Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601 to be donated to SPCA, 16620 State Highway 123, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123.

The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Woodlands Christian Church with Pastor Paul Krueger officiating.
