Arzula Faye "Dooda" (Willingham) Leibrock

August 2, 1932 ~ October 7, 2006

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd, for Arzula Faye Leibrock who passed away October 7, 2006, in Sylmer, California after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma and moved with her family to Santa Paula, California when she was four years old. The family eventually moved to Buttonwillow, California where Arzula resided for 68 years.

She attended elementary school in Buttonwillow and high school at Kern County High School in Bakersfield.

She married John Leibrock on January 8, 1949. They were married for 55 years.

She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Her interests included volunteer work in the Buttonwillow Community, country music, bowling, bingo, Las Vegas trips, baseball games on TV and spending time with family and friends. Her passion was spending time with her grandchildren.

Arzula is survived by her son, Dennis Leibrock of Buttonwillow; granddaughter, Christina Leibrock of Woodstock, Georgia; grandsons, John and Archie Leibrock of Buttonwillow; grandson, Shad Strong and wife, Alisa of San Leandro and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leibrock; son, Gary Leibrock; parents, Ivy and Alene Willingham; brothers, Curtis, TJ and Bobby Willingham and sister, Patsy Galland.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 15, from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara.
