JoAnne Imogene (Perry) Lehr
May 20, 1955 ~ March 11, 2020

JoAnne Imogene Lehr of Durant, entered eternal rest on Wednesday March 11, 2020 in Denison, TX at the age of 64. She was born in Fresno, CA on May 20, 1955 to Daniel Webster Perry Sr. and Emma Mary (Phillips) Perry.

JoAnne attended schools in Clovis, CA and Fayetteville, AR. She has been a longtime Texoma resident and married the love of her life, John Lehr in Woodville, OK on August 2, 1985. The couple shared over 34 years together. Joanne was a member of Victory Life Church in Durant and worked at TNM Automotive until her retirement. She was a doggy mom and enjoyed skydiving, vacationing, spending time with family, baking for her friends, and eating at King Buffet. She liked to relax in her easy chair and enjoy her ornamental light collection while playing online games on her iPad while the Cooking Channel was being broadcast on the TV. Joanne was an ESDR Network 13 Patient Rep at Davita Durant Dialysis with National Certificate of Recognition. She most importantly loved being an ambassador for her Jesus at every provided opportunity. Reaching out to love and help others and being a mom and meme brought her life purpose.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers Danny, Kenny, and Gary Perry, and sister Carol Crawford.

Survivors include her loving husband, John Lehr of the home; grandson, Donovan Nichols of the home; sons Don Nichols of Durant; Clifford Nichols and wife Cathleen of Ardmore, OK; James Collins and wife Tina of Durant, OK; Daniel Perry and wife Munira of Ardmore, OK; daughter Katy Bordelon and husband James of Tulsa, OK; siblings Sherlene Stroud and husband Jim of Cherryvale, KS; Larry Perry of Eureka Springs. AR; David Perry and wife Mellisa of Grove, OK; 13 grandchildren and one on the way; 9 great-grandchildren with one on the way along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great friends who loved her very much.

Memorials may be made in JoAnne’s honor to The Patient Emergency Fund at the Durant Davita Clinic.

Per JoAnne’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
