David Lynn Legrand

April 30, 1947 ~ February 15, 2009

David Legrand, age 61, passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 in the comfort of his own home. He was born April 30, 1947 in Seminole, OK.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a much loved soccer coach.

He was survived by his wife of 37 years Debbie Legrand, his 4 sons: Shawn & wife Lilibeth, Dustin & wife Jamie, Michael & wife Nicholle, and Nathan, his grandchildren: Daelin, Cael, and Jackson, mother Lula Legrand.

He was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Legrand.

He served in the U.S. Marines Corp. and worked at Tinker AFB for 29 years.

He enjoyed hiking and snowshoeing in the mountains.

He as been battling cancer for 8 years so in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in his name.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, 2/19/2009 at the Harrah Church of the Nazarene.
