Richard Butler Lee

March 28, 1951 ~ July 1, 2015

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Richard Butler Lee, 64 year old from Camp Creek, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2015. Richard was born to Ed Lee and Lola [Butler] Carter on March 28, 1951.

Richard lived in many different locations growing up and graduated at Taloga High School. He then attended Southwestern State College in Weatherford for 3 years where he studied Recreational Leadership.

On December 18, 1974 Richard married Brenda [Pickering] Lee in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Richard and Brenda made their home in Camp Creek, Oklahoma were he was a Farmer and Rancher. They were blessed with two daughters Penny and Candy.

In the summer of 2001, Richard was baptized and became a Christian.

Richard loved motorcycles and traveling and was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. He also loved being a dad and grandpa and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Richard was a sincere friend, loving spouse, father, and grandpa. He was a patient teacher and a great storyteller. Words cannot begin to describe the good hearted, kind nature, and caring person Richard was and he will be missed very much.

Left to carry on Richard's Legacy is his wife, Brenda; daughters Penny Hopkins of Silo, OK, Candy Deckard of Perkins, OK; brother Robert Lee of Amarillo, TX: sisters Rebecca Beers of Stillwater, OK, Ramona Porter of Norman, OK; 5 grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
