James Dale Ledbetter
May 28, 1949 ~ December 14, 2021

James Dale Ledbetter, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 72. James was born in Purcell, Oklahoma, on May 28, 1949. He was the son of James Butler Ledbetter and Jimmie (Best) McNally. James moved with his family to California at an early age. Following high school, James served his country by joining the United States Marine Corp. James was an electrician for many years, working for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

James married Patti Luann (Hooper) Ledbetter on February 14, 1996. The couple relocated, with their family, back to Oklahoma in 2007 and have made Meeker their home.

James was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, James and Vannie Ledbetter; his stepfather, Al McNally; one brother, Steve and one sister, Melissa.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Patti Luann Ledbetter; his mother, Jimmie McNally; two daughters,Kayla Vaught and Jamie Ledbetter; one son, James Burgess; four grandchildren; sisters, Becky Chapman, Cindy Sue Baiocchi and Melody Ann Bennett. He is also survived by his cousin, JF Caldwell and host of family and friends.
