Opal Marie (Werneke) Lebeda

Jan. 15, 1919 ~ April 30, 2013

ENID, Okla. - CALDWELL, Kan. - Graveside service for Opal Lebeda, 94, will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, in Caldwell City Cemetery. Arrangements by Schaeffer Mortuary, Caldwell.

Opal was born Jan. 15, 1919, in Renfrow, Okla., to Edward Herman and Lillie Mae (French) Werneke and died Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

She married Joseph Lebeda Jr. on June 14, 1939. He preceded her in death.

Opal is survived by her daughter, Beverly Jayroe of Caldwell; brother, Bob Werneke of Renfrow; sister, Lois Shellhammer of Caldwell; and one grandchild, Rhett.

Memorials may be given to the ASPCA or to Wellington Humane Society, Wellington, Kan.
