Ruby Jo-Ann Lawson
September 27, 1950 ~ February 10, 2019

Jo-Ann Lawson, age 68, passed away at her home in Perkins, Oklahoma on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Jo-Ann was born September 27, 1950 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Billy Jo and Bernice (Bright) Walenciak. She grew up in Pawnee and graduated Pawnee High School in 1967. She worked many years at Mercury Marine in Stillwater as a Floor Supervisor. After retirement she was able to enjoy more reading and gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her three children, Dondi Hughes and husband Mike of Sedalia, MO., Denise Morris of Stillwater, OK., and Keith Lawson of Perkins, OK; two brothers, George Walenciak of Stillwater, OK., and Ronnie Walenciak and wife Michelle of Ponca City, OK; four grandchildren, Dustin Hughes, Ryan Hughes, Skyla Hughes, and Alyson Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Zailey Hatley and Sean Hughes.

The family requests that donations be made to Karman Legacy Hospice in c/o Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, 5106 N. Washington, Stillwater, OK, 74075.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
