Lana Mae (Washburn) Lape

April 30, 1946 ~ July 28, 2018

Lana Mae Washburn Lape, 72, fell asleep in the arms of the Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2018, surrounded by those that love her.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 31 at Alexander’s Midway Funeral Home, Springtown, Texas.

Lana was born April 30, 1946 in Enid to Don and Eva Short Washburn. They preceded her in death along with her husband, Clyde Lape, and brother, Don Washburn.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry Beall and wife Jodie, Sherry Douthit, Fran Barnes, Clyde Lape II and wife Karen, Theresa Wright and husband Darrell, and Bonnie Lape; sister, Lynn Grape and husband Harry; grandchildren, Jerad, Jordan and wife Ridge, Roger, Roddy, Ronnie, Charlsi, Chevi, Juliani, Katherine, Clyde III and Theresa; and great-grandchildren, Audrie, Caison, Tyler, Hunter, Annabelle, Paxton, Hagen, Kole and Roadie.

Lana along with her husband Clyde were the former owners of the Red River Valley Trading Post, located nine miles west of Marietta.

This obituary included a photo of Mrs. Lape.
