Jimmy Charles Lanier
September 11, 1961 ~ November 2, 2018

Jimmy Charles Lanier, son of Grover Charles Lanier and Emmalleta (Dunaway) Palone, was born on September 11, 1961 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He departed this life November 2, 2018 at the age of 57 years.

He spent most of his youth breaking horses and at junior rodeos. Jimmy was a very friendly person who liked to talk, liked to laugh, loved coffee and Dr. Pepper. He enjoyed walking and was known around town for his walking. He was a faithful attendee of many different churches; which one he would attend on any given Sunday was always a surprise. He was Emmalleta's favorite son and LeeAnna's best friend.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Woodrow and Vivian Lanier and Tom and Emaline Dunaway.

Jimmy is survived by his mother: Emmalleta Palone of Westville, father: Charles Lanier of Watts, daughters: Kristi Kendrick and husband Clint of Ft. Smith, Ark., Lindsey Swift and husband Russell of Little Rock, Ark., grandchildren: Isabella, Sophia, Will and Marie Kendrick of Ft. Smith, Ivy Blake Swift of Little Rock, sisters: LeeAnna Lanier and Dena Randal of Westville, Linda Dick and April Ellis of Broken Arrow, Jamie Lents of Oklahoma City, brothers: Bobby Lamont, Matthew Lamont and Justin Lamont, all of Kansas, Okla., numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

Memorial services were held Friday, November 16, 2018 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, Oklahoma with Mike Hayes officiating. Funeral arrangements were by Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville.
