Marvin L. Langston

Dec. 30, 1944 ~ July 12, 2009

The funeral for Marvin L. Langston, 64, of Perryton, Texas, will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Boxwell Brothers Chapel, Perryton. Pastor Fines Marchman will officiate. Burial will be in Heart Cemetery, Booker, Texas.

He was born Dec. 30, 1944, in Cherokee and died Sunday, July 12, 2009.

He had lived in the area since 1970, moving from Helena. He married Brenda Burrell Dec. 29, 1965, in Helena. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the oil fields.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda, of Perryton; one son, Stacey Langston of Perryton; two daughters, Glenna Stephens of Beaver and Kathie Langston of Balko; one brother, Gary Langston of Woodward; one sister, Rubey Miles of Guin, Ala.; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 3915 S. Bell, Amarillo, TX 79109, or the charity of donor's choice.
