Derrell Wayne Langford

September 29, 1952 ~ April 16, 2007

Derrell Wayne Langford, age 54, died Monday April 16, 2007 at his home in Mustang. He was born September 29, 1952 in Alex, OK to Robert Lee and Betty Ruth [Clark] Langford.

Derrell graduated from Alex High School and worked in the oilfield industry with Halliburton, Baker-Hughes, Schlumberger and also as an independent before moving to Mustang in 1995.

He was currently employed with Cimarex.

He was in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother Emmitt.

Derrell is survived by his wife Annette of the home; three sons, Kevin and wife Susan of Ft. Worth, TX; Eric and wife Ashley of Norman, OK; and Chris and fiance' Amber of Noble, OK; Also by his mother Betty of Alex, OK; and four brothers, Robert of Alex, OK; Coy of Ninnekah, OK; Jimmy of Marlow, OK; and Boyd of Alex, OK.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp or to Oklahoma County Hospice in care of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service PO Box 1616, Mustang, OK 73064.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the Alex High School Auditorium in Alex, OK, under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service of Mustang, Oklahoma.
