Note from The Virtual Wall: The 23rd MP Company, Americal Division, lost two men on 29 July 1969: SGT James A. Landrum and SP4 Edward J. Halbert of Steelville, Missouri. The two men detonated a 105mm round rigged as a mine while on patrol in a sand pit outside the wire at LZ Bronco.
