Patricia Sue (Shaffer) Landers

November 20, 1933 ~ March 25, 2023

Patricia Sue Landers, 89, formerly of Miami, OK, left this life on March 25, 2023, in Ponca City, OK. A memorial service will be held in Miami, OK, at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Patricia was born on November 20, 1933, in Lawton, OK, to Fritz and Rosa (Abrams) Shaffer. Patricia graduated from Duncan High School in 1951. She married Melvin Landers on August 9, 1952.

Patricia is survived by: daughters, Pam Landers and husband, Bill Eddins of Montgomery, AL, Jenny Landers and wife, Rachel Strauss of Palm Springs, CA; son, Brent Landers and wife, Michiel of Ponca City, OK, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Melvin; daughter, Melissa Landers; her parents and brother, Gene Shaffer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miami Public Library, 200 N Main St, Miami, OK, 74354 or the First Presbyterian Church of Miami, 1410 E Veterans Rd, Miami, OK, 74354. The family would like to thank the staff of The Renaissance Ponca City, Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, and Precise Home Health Service for their care of Patricia.
