Earnel Lackey

Earnel Lackey
February 14, 1953 ~ February 20, 2024

Ponca City - Earnel Lackey, 71, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on February 20, 2024. He entered this world on February 14, 1953 in Mena, Arkansas born to Henry and Edith (Chamberlin) Lackey. He married Judy Marlene Glasco in 2005, in Madera, California and together the two of them built a loving home in Marland, Oklahoma for many years before moving to Ponca City.

Earnel was a cattle truck driver and spent his days off relaxing at home and watching TV; his favorite programs being car shows and home improvement shows. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and building hot rods. He could also be described as a "junk food junkie" and was known for giving the best bear hugs, according to Judy!

He is survived by his loving wife Judy of the home; son Kevin Coker of Ponca City; daughter Cindy Treat of Stillwater, OK; brothers: Bob and wife Carol Lackey of Marland and James and wife Tammy Lackey of Sand Springs, OK; sister Wanda Lackey; granddaughters: Elizabeth and husband Jay Luker of Parker, CO and Erica Cline of Fresno, CA; as well as many, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Earnel will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, 1 p.m. at the Marland Community Center in Marland, OK with Pastor Gary Wilburn officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Humanity Hospice, 1109 N. Bryant Ave, Suite 100, Edmond, OK, 73034.
