Edward William Kyser, age 48 of Lexington, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Purcell Municipal Hospital after an extended illness.

Eddie was born October 4, 1964 in Midwest City, OK. He was the only child of Harold Edward Kyser and Shirley Janice (Howell) Kyser. Eddie grew up and went to school primarily in Elk City but spent a few years in Moore and OKC.

He first married Yvonne Smith of Long View, TX. Then years later he married Paula Shawn and together they raised two sons, Kristopher and Johnny.

Eddie worked in construction most of his life as a roofer and contractor. He loved his work and fondly recanted stories of his many experiences through the years. He loved listening music and spent many evenings just sitting around playing his guitar. He loved going to church with his mom and dad and especially enjoyed working around the home. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and driving them on the john deer lawnmower.

He was preceded in death by: His father, Harold Kyser;

Edward leaves behind: His mother, Shirley Kyser of Lexington; His sons, Kristohper Shawn of Purcell and Johnny Shawn of Purcell; 2 grandsons, Noah and Johnny Jr; His aunt and uncle, Arlene and Don Robbins of Leander, TX And a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
