Jack Kubik

Jack Kubik
Dec. 11, 1923 ~ Feb. 13, 2013

ENID - Jack Kubik went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, after 89 years of a wonderful life, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Hollywood, Calif., on Dec. 11, 1923, to Ralph and Lola Kubik.

While serving in the Air Force during World War II, he married Gloria Spencer. They raised their family and farmed until he retired.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Gloria; daughters, Sheryl (Mike) Best, and Marilynn Jackson; son, Max (Roberta) Kubik; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Jack loved his wife, family and farming and always strived to leave the land in better condition than when he started. He loved life and was known for always having a smile for everyone. He impressed upon his children that there is nothing more important in this world than family and friends, and thats how he lived. He will be missed with much love and sadness.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob; sister, Geraldine; and son-in-law, Bernie Jackson.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at United Methodist Church, Pond Creek. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home of Pond Creek, Okla.
