Karl Frederick "Fritz" Krueger, 82, a resident of Bartlesville, OK, went to be with our heavenly father 7/27/18.

He spent 50 years as a vocal music teacher in Birmingham, MI, Paoli, IN, Greenwood, IN, Zionsville, IN Huntington, IN, Danville, IL and finally retiring from Dewey Schools. He was a member of American Choral Directors Association, National Association of Music Education, Beta Theta Pi, Oklahoma Choral Directors Association, and the Bartlesville Choral Society. Most notably he was a member of the World Famous Indiana University Singing Hoosiers. The Singing Hoosiers were under the direction of Karls father George staring in 1948. The Singing Hoosiers began a series of tours with the U.S.O. He also volunteered with the Phillips 66 Splash Club announcing the meets during the time his children were swimmers on the team.

He was born November 30, 1935 to George and Elizabeth Krueger in Cleveland, OH. He was married in 1966 to Dr. B.J. Krueger (Jacobs) who has been a practicing Radiologist for the last 53 years. They were married for 52 years at the time of his death. He received his Bachelors in Music from Indiana University (1959) and Masters in Music from Butler University (1969).

A memorial will be held Saturday September 1, 2018 at 11am at St. James Catholic Church, 5550 Douglas Lane, Bartlesville, OK 74006.

In lieu of flowers, a special vocal music scholarship has been set up in Karls name to be given out every year to a high school student entering college wanting to study music. We encourage donations as this will continue the Krueger music legacy which honors his life. Donations can be made to the Karl Fritz Krueger Music Scholarship at the Bartlesville Community Foundation. http://bartlesvillecf.org/ then search Krueger. Thank you.
