Janet Nadine (Key) Kreie

Janet Nadine (Key) Kreie
October 21, 1945 ~ February 13, 2023

A Celebration of Life for Janet Nadine Kreie will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 20th, 2023, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Dennis Kreie officiating. Services and Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Janet was born October 21st, 1945, in Chandler, Oklahoma, to Leo and Naomi Key and peacefully passed away February 13th, 2023.

Janet is survived by her sons, Brian Kreie and Julie Z., of Enid, and Douglas Kreie of Colorado Springs, CO., and her three grandchildren Dylan, Taylor and Dominick. She is also survived by her little precious great-granddaughter, Violet Kreie, as well as many other loved ones and family members.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gary and Michael Key; and husband Kirby Kreie.

Janet married Kirby November 17th, 1972. For forty-seven years they remained partners in life until his passing in 2020. She was a proud third-grade teacher at Pioneer-Pleasant Vale School and loved all aspects of education and learning. Her most beloved hobby was reading. At no point did she ever have a lack of books to enjoy.

Janet and Kirby owned and operated K&K Excavation. They both worked diligently to assure their names and reputation were honorable to the community they served. They loved camping and boating around the many lakes of Oklahoma. Janet took great pride in watching her grandchildren grow up to be men of integrity. Her sons were always surrounded by love, and neither son went without nor ever wanted for anything. The nature of her love abounded to all those close to her. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and Elvis Presley.

In the passing of her life, she wished that any donations be granted to the Salvation Army, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made and services viewed online at ladusauevans.com.
