Carolee (Orme) Krase

January 31, 1938 ~ Aug 11, 2012

Carolee Orme Krase, 74, died Sat., Aug 11, 2012, at the Medicalodges in Dewey, OK.

She was born January 31, 1938 in Kingman, Ks., the daughter of Merle S. and Lucille (Beck) Orme.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, since 1986 she was in charge of the churches Meals on Wheels program, she held various offices for the state and local Presbyterian Women all of Bartlesville. She graduated from Kingman High School in 1956 and from Kansas State University in 1960. While her husband attended Nebraska University she taught 4th grade in Lincoln, NE. They have lived in Bartlesville since 1965.

On August 21, 1960 she married Larry D. Krase at Kingman. He survives along with their daughter, Sherri Horne of Bartlesville, a brother, Larry Orme of Kingman, and 2 grandsons Jonas and Jensen Horne.

She was preceded in death by a son Eric Krase, her parents and a brother Royce Orme.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wed., Aug 15, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church, Bartlesville. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thurs, Aug 16, 2012 at the Waterloo Cemetery, Kingman Co., Kansas. Friends may call Tuesday evening and Wednesday will be from 9:00 a.m. until noon Wed at the Stumpff Funeral Home, Bartlesville. The casket will not be opened at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in her name be made to the Presbyterian Women care of Eastern Oklahoma Presbyterian, 700 S. Boston Ave., Suite 200, Tulsa, Ok 74119 or the Family Life Symposium, in care of 505 S. Dewey, Bartlesville, Ok 74003.
