William A. "Bill" Korsack, Jr.
March 14, 1949 ~ September 07, 2019

William A. "Bill" Korsack, Jr., age 70, of Purcell, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019. He was born March 14, 1949 in Newark, New Jersey, the only child of William Sr. and Anna Maria (Bagdonas) Korsack. By age 11, both of Bill’s parents had passed, and so he moved to Scranton, PA, to live with his aunt and uncle, Helen and John Jurkonie.

After high school, he was drafted into United States Marine Corp. Bill was the proud father of two children; son, William III and daughter, Ann. Prior to moving to Georgia, he established Meadowood Farms in Williamsport, PA. Making them one of the top training and breeding farms in the APHA Industry. He settled in Georgia where he worked as horse trainer and truck driver and opened up his horse training facilities. Training and Showing many World Champions, some later to become European Champions as he sold his horses all over Western Europe.

By chance, on an overland haul, he stopped in Salt Lake City. It was here he met his life partner and longtime companion, Debra. They first made their home in Taylorsville, GA, before settling on an acreage near Purcell. Bill loved his life on the farm, caring and providing his animals and tinkering around on his place. He was the co-owner and trainer of 4-K Training Stables. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by:

His parents, William and Anna Maria Korsack and

His aunt and uncle, Helen and John Jurkonie.

Bill is survived by:

His companion, Debra Korsack of Purcell;

Children, William Korsack III and wife Katie of Adairsville, GA and

Ann Laughhunn and husband Brian of Adairsville, GA;

2 step daughters, Danette Larson and husband Michael of Magna, UT and

Sunshine Stewart and husband Nathan of West Valley, UT;

Aunt Ellie Dozier of Wilmington, DE; 12 grandsons and a host of other

Family and friends.

A Memorial Service for Bill’s family and friends in Georgia will be scheduled in the near future. Send online condolences @ wilsonlittle.com.
