William H. Kopplin

William H. Kopplin
March 6, 1934 ~ July 13, 2021

William H. Kopplin went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 13, 2021. He was born to Emil and Ethel Kopplin on March 6, 1934 in Ripon, WI. He was baptized at the age of 12 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. He enjoyed playing football in high school. Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1973. He was awarded multiple decorations, medals, and badges. On October 16, 1963 he married Cora Dale (Bowers) in Denison, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Ethel Kopplin, Wife Dale Kopplin, beloved sons Jimmy Kopplin and Doug Kopplin and daughter Sherry Kopplin.

Left to cherish Bill’s memories are his two daughters Vicki L. Yeats and husband James of Floyds Knobs, IN and Micha Holloway of Mead, OK. He also leaves behind nine grand children 23 great grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren.

A celebration of Bill’s life with military honors is scheduled for Saturday June 17, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant. Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant. Online condolences can be made at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
