Cora Dale “Dink” (Bowers) Kopplin
November 2, 1932 ~ December 26, 2020

Cora Dale “Dink” (Bowers) Kopplin, age 88, passed away on December 26, 2020. Dale was born on November 2, 1932, in Denison, Texas to Andrew and Gertie Bowers. She attended Calera Public Schools and took some courses from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Dale owned and operated “Designs by Dale” a professional interior home design company.

On October 16th, 1963 she married William Howard Kopplin in Denison, Texas. She married him and became a strong military wife.

Dale professed her Christian faith and was baptized at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Denison, Texas on April 19, 1964.

She was an accomplished artist and enjoyed painting she especially loved painting florals and landscapes.

Dale is preceded in death by her son Douglas Ray Kopplin, two sisters, and four brothers.

She is survived by her husband William Kopplin of Clyde W. Cosper, Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, her daughters Vicki Yeats and husband Jim of Floyds Knobs, IN. Sherry Kopplin of Marble Falls, TX. Micah Holloway of Mead, OK. Brother JR Bowers of Golden Valley, AZ, and sister Darlene Bowers/ Morton and husband Leon of Emory, TX. Dale also leaves behind nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Dale’s life is scheduled for Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 10:00 Am at Brown’s Funeral Home in Durant. Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant. Online condolences can be made at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
