George Arthur Kohlhofer, Jr.

May 21, 1950 ~ May 24, 2017

George Arthur Kohlhofer, Jr., 67, of Oologah, OK passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Plymouth, Indiana. He was born May 21, 1950 in Perrysburg, OH to George Arthur Kohlhofer, Sr., and the former Sally Williams.

He had lived in Oologah since 1989 having moved from Owasso. He retired from American Airlines as a Programmer Analyst and was a member of the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene. He loved model trains and was a member of Claremore and Southern Train Club. He was a volunteer and supporter of the American Legion. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He married the former Jane Meeker on November 18, 1972.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Collinsville Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ryan Amey officiating.

His wife Jane of the home survives him. 2 children: Krista Johnson and her husband Johnie of Owasso and George Kohlhofer, III and his wife Amanda of Ft. Worth, TX. 6 grandchildren: Taylor Johnson, Colton Johnson, Bryce Johnson, Kaleb Johnson, Brynlee Johnson and Abby McGuffin. 4 siblings: Frank Kohlhofer and his wife Joyce of Swanton, OH, Karen Kohlhofer of Swanton, OH, Kenneth Kohlhofer of Pickerington, OH and Michael Kohlhofer and his wife Lisa of Holland, OH. 2 sister-n-laws: Cindy Kohlhofer of Toledo, OH and Marilyn Kohlhofer of Brooklyn, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by 3 brothers: David Eugene Kohlhofer, James Henry Kohlhofer and Roy Russell Kohlhofer, and 1 sister-n-law: Theresa Jeanne Kohlhofer.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
