Vernon Leon Knoll, 68, of Blanchard, died Thursday, December 26, 2024, in Norman. The son of Eugene P. Knoll and Linda (Werth) Small, he was born May 22, 1956, in Hays, Kansas.
Vern married Connie Joan Davis on June 22, 1974, in Garden City, Kansas. He owned and operated Knoll Floor Covering in Blanchard for many years. Vern’s life revolved around his grandchildren and he never missed a school event or one of their ball games. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his land, raising cattle, and spending time with his beloved dog, Toby. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Connie Knoll; and one sister, Shirley Williams.
Vern is survived by two daughters, Kristy Campbell and her husband, Brian, of Norman and Ashley Knoll and Josh Keathley, of Newcastle; one son, Tim Knoll and his wife, Stephanie, of Norman; nine grandchildren, Kalie Knoll, Nick Knoll, Hannah McLaughlin, Jack, McLaughlin, Brinley Campbell, Kinsley Campbell, Karissa Campbell, Mason Keathley, and Baron Keathley; one brother, David Knoll of Newcastle; and many other loved ones and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Vern’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
