Bobby Lane Knight

Bobby Lane Knight
Jun 28, 1957 ~ Sep 7, 2013

ENID, Okla. — Bobby Lane Knight was born June 28, 1957, in Lake Charles, La., to Lonnie and Margie Knight and died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at St. John’s Hospital after battling acute complications from diabetes.

Bobby worked for Northrop at Vance AFB for many years. He worked as a dispatcher for Life EMS and at StarTek prior to its closing.

Bobby is survived by daughter, Stormy Nicole Knight-Robison and husband Jason Robison of Sapulpa, and son, Jake Thomas Knight of Enid.

Bobby was preceded in death by both parents and brother, Don Knight.

Bobby was an extremely devoted father and was very proud of his children. He attended his daughter’s wedding and watched his son head off to college prior to his death.

He was an avid football fan, especially fond of LSU and OU, and could quote stats like a sportscaster. He will be greatly missed by all, including multiple nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Donations may be made directly to the funeral home to help defer costs.
