Memorial services for Patricia Ann King, 68, of Falconhead, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 1, in Marietta’s First Baptist Church, with the Rev. James C. Wheeler and Gene Mullins officiating.
Born August 23, 1940 in Prague, the daughter of Dain and Mary Lee Ellis Harris, she died Monday, July 27, 2009 in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore.
A resident of Falconhead for the past 10 years, Mrs. King had previously made her home in the Oklahoma City area. She and Jack King were married October 5, 1975 in Midwest City. Mrs. King was the managing owner of Pak Petroleum for 20 years in Oklahoma City and Burneyville. She was a member of the Village Methodist Church of Oklahoma City.
Survivors include her husband, Jack King of the home; five children and their spouses, Dainna Mayfield and husband Greg of Alpharetta, Georgia, Mark King and wife, Lea of Tulsa, Suanne King of Amarillo, Texas, Michael King and wife, Amy of Yukon, and Lee Ann Hicks and husband, James of Jimtown; 13 grandchildren, Megan Mayfield, Matthew Mayfield, Mary Mayfield, Christopher King, Alek Hicks, Zachary King, Chloe King, Tyler Hicks, Riley King, Hagen Hicks, Madysen Hicks, Caden Hicks and Carter King; and two aunts, Myrtle Shivers of Stratford and Lila Jane Miller of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerry Harris; and a sister, Marilyn Sue Ketner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ardmore Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
