Norman Conley Kindley

Norman Conley Kindley
March 30, 1928 ~ September 30, 2016

Norman was born in Beggs, Oklahoma on March 30, 1928 to Conley James Kindley and Vertie Gladys Ingle. He passed away peacefully the evening of September 30, 2016.

Norman graduated from Nowata High School and entered the Army where he proudly served our country. He then married Betty Joyce Lancer on December 12, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas. He then moved to Dewey, Oklahoma and started working for Phillips 66 until he retired in 1985. He and Betty moved to Sun City, Arizona in 1988. Norman then moved back to Bartlesville in 2013.

Norman is survived by his son, Mike and wife Jennifer of Bartlesville; two grandchildren, Sarah Kindley of Norman, Oklahoma and Sean Kindley and wife Cassandra of Katy, Texas; one great grandchild, Alice Kindley and two sisters, Frieda Johnson and husband Galen of Louisiana, Missouri and Jessie Huston and husband Don of Haven, Kansas.

Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Betty on September 22, 2005; his parents; two sisters, Ruth Winters and Lois Lyons, and one brother, Donald Kindley.

A public viewing will be held October 4, 5 and 6, 2016 from 8 A.M. until 8 P.M. at Stumpff Funeral Home. Services will be held 11 A.M. Friday, October 7, 2016 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Norman will be interred in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
