Wade Kester

Wade Kester
August 8, 1986 ~ September 1, 2021

Wade Kester of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away on September 1, 2021, at W.W. Cherokee Nation Hastings Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 35. Wade was born on August 8, 1986, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma the son of Delbert Kester and Cyndi Kay Green.

Wade never met a stranger and because of his love for others, he dedicated his life to helping those in need and putting a smile on their face. He could teach us all how to forgive and value priceless things in life rather than materials. He loved Jesus, attending church at New Life, fishing, wearing his crocs, riding the four wheelers, cooking out on the grill, being out on the boat fishing or just enjoying time relaxing on the water. Wade was a good ol country boy who loved to be outdoors and in nature. Wade most of all loved being around his family especially his babies Jayden, Calen and Mia.

There was never an adventure that Wade didn't want to take. He was always looking for the new. As a boy he grew up with cousins that were like siblings so our home was always full of his shenanigans and laughter. He had many friends near and far who come to know the guy we all love. With so many stories he would always bring a chuckle. Even though he had a few rough years, in the end, Wade knew that above all Jesus was his Lord and Savior. He was never a shy person and would honestly give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. As he grew in his love for Jesus, he began to love fiercely and honestly. He was a son, brother, cousin, uncle, dad and husband. Being a child of God had become his biggest joy and his roles as a daddy and a husband were by far most important, as he strived to be a good provider for his family. Wade will be missed dearly by all he leaves behind. To know him, was simply to love him.

He was preceded in death, by his maternal grandparents, Tom and Hazel Hitcher, Paternal grandfather, William Kester, aunts, Janice Gail Hitcher, Freda Hitcher, Sue Springwater and brother-in-law, Brian Medina.

He leaves behind a loving family which includes his wife of the home, Martina (Romero) Kester, children Jayden Callahan, Calen Wade Kester and Mia Grace Kester, parents, Delbert Kester, Cyndi Green and husband Anthony, father and mother-in-law, Rafael and Ronetta Romero, paternal grandmother, Anna Starbuck, siblings, Jacob Kester and wife Erica, step siblings, Christian Green and wife Kelsey, Shelby Whittington and husband Brandon, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and family that survive him.
