Charlinda Marie (Fischer) Kent

January 27, 1958 ~ August 14, 2009

Kent, Charlinda Marie, 51, of Norman, OK passed away August 14th, 2009 in Norman. She was born January 27th, 1958 in Bay City, MI to Ernest and Vermelda Fischer. She grew up in Michigan where she met her husband, Mark Kent, of 32 years.

She was a Registered Nurse and worked as a Nurse Recruiter for Midwest Regional Medical Center. Caring for others was her greatest passion.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Fischer Jr., and grandparents Ernest Fischer Sr. and Mary Fischer, and Emery and Erma Gainforth.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Kent of the home, daughter Shannon Love and son-in-law Preston Love of Rowlett, TX, daughter Melissa Lindley and son-in-law Justin Lindley of Seattle, WA, son Mark David Kent of Midwest City, OK, her greatest loves, granddaughter Audrey Love and soon to be Baby Lindley, mother, Vermelda Fischer of Akron, MI, sisters Becky Faller, Cindy Jenkins, Susan Schumann, Lynnaea Fischer, Treasa Ross, brothers Steven Fischer and Harvey Fischer all of Michigan, and many other close relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City, OK on Monday, August 17th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a Memorial Service held at Wisner United Methodist Church in Akron, MI on August 22nd, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
