Allie Rozella Kennedy

Jan. 7, 1926 ~ Oct. 28, 2004

Allie went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 28, 2004, at the age of 78, with her family by her side. She was born in Oklahoma and spent most of her life in Avenal, Ca. where she was a homemaker and enjoyed working in The Women's Missionary Council at her church.

She will be remembered by her friends and family as a wonderful cook who specialized in homemade pies and goodies. At long last, she is free of the pain she has endured for many years.

She was preceded in death by James Kennedy, her husband of 60 years, whom she married at 15 years old; and her oldest daughter, Sue Hayes; six sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Borek and her husband Bob of Clovis; son, Bob Kennedy of Pixley; daughter, Rita Gonzales and George of Bakersfield; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Cordoba, Dr. Heller, and the nursing staff at Saint Agnes that made her last few days as peaceful and comfortable as possible.

A funeral service will be held at Grangeville Cemetery in Armona, Ca. on Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. The services will be officiated by her son, Pastor Bob Kennedy of the Pixley Assembly of God Church.
