Janet Marie (Lostroh) Kendall

Janet Marie (Lostroh) Kendall
September 27, 1937 ~ April 2, 2019

Janet was born and grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1955. She married Raymond R. Kendall in 1956. They had two children Patricia (Kendall) Blose of Enid and David Kendall of Bellevue, Neb. She was very active in Eastern Star, rising through the chairs to Worthy Matron in 1969 and Grand Esther of Iowa in 1973. She and Ray enjoyed dancing and playing cards. She loved to entertain and had many memorable dinner parties. The couple moved to Enid in 1996, where they continued to enjoy dancing, cards and entertaining their dear friends here in Enid. Janet was also a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital.

Janet is survived by her children Patricia (Kendall) Blose and Donald Blose, Jr. of Enid and David Kendall and Debra Kendall of Bellevue, Neb. Four Grandchildren; Don Blose, III, Heather Wagner, Liz Kendall Weisser and Rachel Kendall. Six Great Grandchildren Tree Wagner, Skylar Blose, Felix Blose, Lilly Weisser, Drew Weisser and Mia Weisser. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Bill Lostroh, a sister Beverly Goings and husband Raymond Kendall.

Services will be held 11:00am, April 27, 2019, at Christian Church of the Covenant officiated by Pastor Pat Sutherlin with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences online at www.andersonburris.com.
