Patricia Marie (Plafcan) Kelsey
April 2, 1941 ~ April 6, 2026

Patricia Marie Kelsey, 85, of Caddo, Oklahoma passed from this life on April 6, 2026, in Richardson, Texas. She was born on April 2, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri to Joseph Andrew Plafcan and Bertha Louise Plafcan (McDowell).

Patricia attended school in St. Louis, Missouri where she was born. She moved from Mesquite, Texas to Caddo, Oklahoma in 1976. She was a devoted Baptist and member of Caddo First Baptist Church. She found great joy in cooking and spending time with her family. She was a long-time employee of Caddo ISD and truly cherished her years there because she loved serving the children of the community. She was loved by everyone who knew her and had a true servant’s heart. She will be greatly missed.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; Jospeh and Bertha Plafcan, daughter; Sherry Chumley, grandson; Rylan Miller, brothers; Chuck Plafcan, Joey Plafcan, Richard Plafcan, Bobby Plafcan, Bill Plafcan, and sister; Francis and husband Jerry Pickard.

Patricia is survived by her children; Tammy and Orville Reynolds of Durant, OK, Tina and Randall Guthrie of Rowlett, TX, Johnny and Charlotte Welborn of Colbert, OK, Tracy and Tim Bachelor of Durant, OK, and Evelyn Jones of Paris, TX, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great- grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Patricia will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel with Chaplain Don Fentem officiating.

Services are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
