Laura Joye (Scott) Kelln
December 11, 1925 ~ May 31, 2019

A celebration of life for Laura "Joye" Kelln, 93, of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Higgins, Texas. Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 2, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Laura Joye (Scott) Kelln was born December 11, 1925, in Borger, Texas, to W.L. and Nola Scott and passed away May 31, 2019, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Canadian High School in 1943. She moved to Perryton, TX, where she worked as a church secretary. Laura married C.Q. Kelln April 19, 1959, in Clayton, New Mexico. They spent the rest of their lives together farming and ranching in Higgins as well as Perryton, Texas. In 1990 they sold the farm and retired in Enid, OK. Laura enjoyed painting, camping, and fishing.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Regina Anguiano and husband Luis; two sons, Leon Doffer and John Doffer and wife Youlonda; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, C.Q. Kelln; her parents, W.L. and Nola Scott.

Memorial contributions can be made to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of funds. Condolences may be made and services viewed at www.ladusauevans.com.
