Don was born May 31, 1965, in Tulsa to Thomas William and Wilma Jean (Carr) Kelley. He was raised in Louisiana and Claremore and graduated from Claremore High School in 1983. Following high school, Don served his country in the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge, he spent time as an owner-operator truck driver before continuing his education and earning an associate degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College.

Don worked as a lineman for Western Farmers Electric, where his career took him to Chickasha, Binger, and McAlester. In recent years, he worked for Big V Feeds as a truck driver. Never one to sit still, Don also enjoyed cattle ranching and remodeling homes, always keeping his hands busy and his mind engaged.

Don had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in camping, fishing, and taking in live music at concerts. He was a natural builder and fixer, someone who could make or mend just about anything. Above all, he cherished time spent with those he loved.

On December 21, 2019, Don married Kerry Beal, in Branson, Missouri. Together, they shared many adventures, whether traveling, exploring, or simply enjoying the open road. Don especially loved riding his Harley-Davidson alongside Kerry. He was a proud member of the Eternal Few Motorcycle Club.

Don was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Maudie Kelley; maternal grandparents, Franklin and Rosie Carr; cousin, David Vaughan; mother-in-law, Anna Mae Beal; and brother-in-law, Richard Magby.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kerry Kelley of the home; son, Justin Kelley and wife Serena; daughters, Emily Stopp, Cheyenne “Mo” Selman, and Kaya Selman; five grandchildren, Sophia Kelley, Audrina Stopp, Boston Stopp, Charlotte Stopp, and soon-to-be-born Waylon Selman; his parents, Tom and Wilma Kelley; sister, Sherrie Kelley; father-in-law, Nickey Beal; sisters-in-law, Kim Magby and Lisa Price and husband Roger; brother-in-law, Rickey Beal and wife Linda; his neighbor and dear friend, Mae Humbles; along with numerous extended family members and many friends.

Don will be remembered for his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, and the love he shared with his family, friends and especially his wife, Kerry. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
