Celebration of Life Service for Eric Douglas Keiffer, 41 of Yukon, Oklahoma, will be August 8, 2023, at 2pm at the Church of Good Shepherd in Yukon, Oklahoma.

Eric was born September 15, 1981, in Enid, Oklahoma to Paul Dean and Cynthia Kay and passed away August 2, 2023, in Yukon, Oklahoma. Eric attended Helena schools and graduated high school at Timberlake in Helena, OK. In school, Eric participated in football, basketball, and baseball. Eric excelled at baseball and was one of his first loves. Eric went on to Oklahoma State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2004. While at OSU, Eric worked various jobs such as Eskimo Joes and Blue Bell. It was at Oklahoma State University where he met his future wife, Carla Wilson.

Eric and Carla married on October 12, 2007, in Catoosa, Oklahoma. Eric and Carla lived in various cities such as: Stillwater, OK, Maumelle, AR, Sand Springs, OK, Oklahoma City, OK and Yukon, OK. They welcomed their first born and daughter, Emma Danyel in 2013 and completed their family with their son, Charlie Dean in 2015.

Eric was an IT associate for RK Black and TR Legal for over 14 years where he specialized in legal services. He was very involved with his kids’ sports and was a board of trustee at UMC of Good Shepherd. Eric’s passion for sports he shared with his Dad and Brother as they all 3 stayed connected sharing updates on all the sports games. Eric was a mentor to many friends’ children who did not have a fatherly figure in their lives.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandpa, Paul Milton Keiffer of Helena, OK and Grandma “GG” Velma “Missy” Dickerson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, father-in-law, Travis Cummings of Inola, OK, brother-in-law, Bill Vollmer of Grand Lake, OK as well as his fur babies, Allie and Duke.

Eric is survived by his wife, Carla Deann Keiffer, daughter, Emma Danyel age 10 and son, Charles “Charlie” Dean age 7. His parents, Paul Dean and Cynthia Kay Keiffer of Yukon, OK, Mother in law, Pamela Cummings of Inola, OK, brother and sister-in-law, Ethan and Stacy Keiffer, of Yukon, OK, brother-in-law, Joe Wilson and wife Becca of Harlingen, TX and sister-in-law, Shanna Vollmer of Sand Springs, OK, Grandma, Betty Keiffer (Grandma Betty) of Enid, OK, nieces, Kameron and Kinzie of Yukon, OK and Brooke Annis and nephews Carson Milburn, of Sand Springs, OK and Levi and Wesley Wilson of Harlingen, TX. His great nephews, Decker and Dax along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his fur babies, Sparkles, Annie and Millie.

In lieu of flowers a 529C has been set up for Emma and Charlie’s college education. Please mail to Edward Jones, 104 W 41st Street, Sand Springs, OK 74063. Write checks to Edward Jones and in memo line: education funds Keiffer children.
