Michael Ray Keen

December 1, 1955 ~ February 7, 2018

Services for Michael Ray Keen are 10:00 am, Monday February 12, 2018, at Cornerstone Fellowship in Tahlequah. Officiating will be Pastor Donnie Sanders and Associate Pastor Bobby Musgrove. Honorary pallbearers are Allen Matlock, Rick Matlock, David Matlock, Aaron Choate, Cruse Garrett, Michael Snook, Caleb Duncan, Tyler Caughman, Jerry Matlock and David Isaacs, Walter Choate, and Charles Matlock. Final arrangements have been placed in the care of Green Country Funeral Home.

Michael Ray Keen was born December 1, 1955, in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Roy Ray and Patsy Elaine (Neff) Keen. He passed away at his home on February 7, 2018, at the age of 62 years 2 months and 6 days.

Michael was born and raised in Stilwell and was a Stilwell High School graduate. After high school he attended Northeastern State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

He and Cathie married in 1995, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. A Christian man he had attended Cornerstone Fellowship for some 20 years.

He began working at the Department of Human Services in 1981, with DDSD-Developmental Disability Services Division where he was a dedicated employee. His division dedicated a Mike Keen Day which was recently celebrated.

Michael is survived by his wife, Cathie of the home; daughters, Angie Keen, Randi Duncan and husband Caleb, Trista Snook and husband Michael, and Tavarie Hamilton; step son, Tyler Caughman; sisters, Kari Isaacs and Shannon Smith; grandchildren, Aaron Choate, Hannah Garrett, Cruse Garrett, Isabella Garrett, Cora Duncan, and arriving soon Bradeck Snook; as well as many dear friends and loved ones.

He was the best Dad, Grandpa, Uncle and Husband and he will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Parks Foundation
