Dr. Francis O'Dell "Frank" Kampschroeder
August 23, 1946 ~ May 17, 2018

A Celebration of Life Service for Dr. Frank Kampschroeder will be held Thursday, May 24th, at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma. Arrangements entrusted to Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Dr. Frank (Francis O'Dell Kampschroeder) was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on August 23, 1946 and passed away May 17, 2018 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City due to brain injuries incurred from a fall on April 26th. He is preceded in death by his parents Ila Mae and Elmer O'Dell Kampschroeder, sisters-in-law Helen Price, Nellie Rose McCreary, Martha and Dorothy Randolph, and brother-in-law Wally Price.

He will be missed by many, most especially by his beloved and devoted wife, best friend and companion of 21 years, Hazel, their children, grandchildren, great-grandchild and his special four-legged companion, Gracie. Together they embraced his two biological children Dana Burton and her husband Jeff and Paul and Tammy Kampschroeder and also Hazel's children Lisa and Jack James and Greg and Rhonda Hill. Dr. Frank loved spending time with their five grandchildren, Dorian Burton, Max and Lewis Kampschroeder along with Kaitlin and Joel Bacon and Gregory (Jamey) Hill plus one great-granddaughter Dakota Rae Bacon.

Dr. Frank lovingly served his patients for 25 years. He practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before moving to Enid in 1995 to purchase a clinic that later became Kampschroeder Chiropractic and continued practicing there until his retirement in December 2015. He heroically accepted challenges in 2016 with triple by-pass surgery and later the diagnosis of Primary Progressive Aphasia. He was a very caring and loving companion, father, friend and physician. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to AMBUCS Amtryke Fund through the funeral home.

Condolences may be made online at www.andersonburris.com.
