Jean (McLevis) Juntunen

April 3, 1933 ~ (?) Jan 2008

In loving memory of my wife of 53 years, Jean Juntunen. After a courageous 7-year fight with cancer, she went home to join the Lord.

She was born April 3, 1933 to Tillie and Joseph McLevis in Sturgeon Lake, MN.

She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening. We spent many happy hours camping and fishing, and in later years, traveling. Jean was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Parish in OKC, and in her younger years, she was very active in church activities.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Jerry and John; sisters, Josephine Kahn, Martha Andler, May Stanton and Violett Bloch.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roy and son, Jeffrey of Bethany, OK; sisters, Lily Whitlinger of OKC, Patricia McHale and Darlene Gregor, both of Mantica, CA; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.

Memorial Services will be held on Mon., Jan. 21, 2008, at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK.
