Friends and family get together for Michael L. "Boots" Jung will be held 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Barn. Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Look for the balloon off Southgate.

Michael L. “Boots” Jung, 64, Enid resident, was born on February 9, 1956 in Enid, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Classen) Jung, and passed away suddenly on May 4, 2020 in Enid.

Boots was raised and educated in Waukomis, graduating from Waukomis High School with the class of 1974. He was the quarterback and was named All Prep, All Amderican and All State Quarterback. Mike then attended OSU where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree. Boots married Belinda Dale Huddleston on January 2, 1976 in Waukomis. Boots worked in oilfield supply sales and worked his farm, raising and milking dairy goats. Boots was affiliated with the Methodist Church. He was a member of Meadowlake Men’s Golf Association.

Survivors include his wife Belinda of the residence; son, Brandon (Patricia) Jung of Enid; Shelley Jung of Enid; grandchildren, Landon, Kimber, Riley, and Josie; sister, Sandy Ross of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Boots was preceded in passing by his parents, brothers, Ed Jung, Terry Jung and Robin Jung.

The family has requested memorial donation checks be made payable to Boot’s grandchildren’s education fund.
