Wanda Louise Jones

November 16, 1940 ~ October 20, 2004

Graveside services will be held Greenlawn Southwest Memorial park, 2739 Panama Ln., Tuesday, October 26 at 2:30 p.m. for Wanda Louise Jones, 63, who passed away October 20, 2004 in a local hospital. Rev. Robert Proctor and Rev. Wayne Proctor will officiate.

Wanda was born November 16, 1940 in Simpson, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 46 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed. Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Dwight F Jones, Sr. She is survived by her son, Dwight F. Jones, Jr.; daughter Renee Garis both of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Zackary Whaley, Jessica Garis and Stephen Garis; great granddaughter, Kylee Whaley; brothers, Henry W. Brown of Cedar Grove, Tennessee and Harold G. Brown of Bakersfield; sister, Kay Hill of Tulare; father-in-law, Hurber Jones of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin Monday, October 25 at noon.
