There will be a private family service for Virgie Jones, 53 of Enid. Arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. 

Virgie was born on January 6, 1965 in Pueblo, Colorado to Herman and Marlene Murray and passed away on April 19, 2018 in Enid. 

Virgie grew up in Denver, Colorado. She was a housekeeper for many colleges, hospitals, and hotels. She married George Jones Jr in 1992 and they made their home in Oklahoma City. In 2004 they moved to Enid. Virgie loved gardening and planting flowers. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother and one sister. 

She is survived by her husband, George Jones Jr; children, Lance Murray (Donna) of Enid, Shawn Cassey of Houston, Texas, and Christina Jones of Reno, Nevada; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Murray and Robert Murray; one sister, Terry Murray.
