Robert Clayton “Bobby” Jones

Robert Clayton “Bobby” Jones
February 12, 1965 ~ January 16, 2022

Robert was born February 12, 1965 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents Julian and Almeta (Burns) Jones. He grew up in and around Enid, Oklahoma. He attended Dummond public schools and Hennessey High School where he played football. He went by “Bobby” when he was young.

Robert’s favorite pastime was jug-fishing and camping at Keystone Lake. There wasn’t a spot out there he hadn’t fished. He worked as a painter most of his life, starting out with his dad and uncles. Eventually he owned and operated his own successful business.

Robert married his wife, Chasidy, February 26, 2016. The short time they were married their life was full of adventures; from cruises to Mexico, weekends in the mountains, and back-roading country roads.

Robert enjoyed throwing cook-outs, where everyone enjoyed his homemade barbeque sauce.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Julia Jones Dods and Rhonda Jones; paternal and maternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife Chasidy; brother, Steve Jones and wife Shelby; sister, Brenda Bingham and husband John; children: Brittany Jones, Dustin & Mahala Jones, Blade Jones, Alizabeth & Cody Moore, Terrance Artrip, and Ashlee Artrip; grandchildren: Caidence, Braiden, Chase, Kylee, Kalyn, and Justice; nieces and nephews: Kristi Bingham, Justin Bingham, Josh Jones, Joleen Platt, Amanda Masters, Lindsey Dods, Kim Jones, and Jason Jones; numerous great- nieces and nephews, other family, and friends.

Robert was a simple man that loved deeply and will be greatly missed.
