Nolen Dean Jones

Nolen Dean Jones
April 23, 1932 ~ May 26, 2013

Nolen Dean Jones went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2013.

Nolen was born April 23, 1932 in Stigler, OK, the son of Albert Cicero Jones and Majellon Cortez (Dement) Jones.

Nolen grew up in Stigler and joined the Army in 1953. On December 29, 1951 he married Maggie Gant in Muskogee, OK, they loved and enjoyed each other for over 61 years. Nolen loved being outdoors gardening and raising chickens. He was a jack of all trades.

Survivors include his wife, Maggie of the home; children: Debbie and Cliff Walker of Muskogee, OK, Betty and Doug Satterfield of Houston, Texas., David and Kathy Jones of Muskogee, OK, April and Larry Sullins of Muskogee, OK, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Nolen was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Emmett, John, Curtis, and his twin Olen; his two sisters Estelle and Kathleen.

His family will gather at the Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29th from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. to share memories about Nolen.

He was a greatly loved and Treasured by all, and will be greatly missed.

We lost a great man but heaven gained a perfect angel.
