Laura Sue (Posey) Jones
May 25, 1953 ~ May 6, 2021

Laura Sue Jones, 67, a resident of Paden, Oklahoma, passed away on May 6, 2021 at her home. Laura was born on May 25, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to Bill and Marley Caroline (Reinecke) Posey. She graduated from Lincoln High School, Lincoln, Arkansas.

Laura’s life was horses. You could say she was a professional cowgirl. She participated in barrel racing, rodeos, and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

Above all, Laura was an exceptional woman, mother, and mentor.

Laura was preceded in death by her son, Clint Jones, and her parents, Bill and Marley Posey.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Curt Jones of Cincinnati, Arkansas; a grandson, Cashton Jones of Prague, Oklahoma; her granddaughter, Lilly Jones of Prague; a daughter-in-law, Sara Jones of Prague; her friends and caretakers, Courtney and Chris Coleman of Paden, Ok; and other extended family members and friends.
