Gloria May (Shugars) Jones
March 4, 1951 ~ August 24, 2021

Gloria May Jones was born on March 4, 1951 in Streator, Illinois to Jesse Leland and Mary (King) Shugars, Gloria passed from this life on August 24, 2021 in Durant at the age of 70.

Gloria moved to Bryan County from Denison, TX on April 1, 2021. She worked as a housekeeper the majority of her life. She was a member of Glenn Wood Baptist Church. Gloria deeply loved the Lord and Elvis and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she loved bright colors and her plants.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents.

Gloria is survived by her daughters Marilynn Owen (David Fariss) and Gerri Hjerpe (Jonathan Wilson); son Harry Smith; grandchildren Crystal Owen (Travis McDowell), Montana Wilson (Darcy Wilson), Hailey Wilson, Alisha Jones and Leland Wilson; one great grandchild Raelynn Wilson; brother Gail Shugars (Debbie Shugars); brother Robert Shugars (Rosa Shugars) and numerous extended family and friends.
