Carolyn Michelle Joiner
March 6, 1963 ~ March 15, 2021

Carolyn Michelle Joiner, age 58, of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed away on March 15, 2021. Carolyn was born to Jack Dwain Joiner and Margaret Tidwell on March 6,1963 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Carolyn graduated Bokchito public school and she called Bokchito her home. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed lots of activities and crafting and going on adventures. She gave to her favorite organizations The ASPCA and The Humane Society often. She attended Bokchito Baptist Church and gave to many Christian charities and in the end she was an organ donor. Carolyn’s most favorite thing was spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father Jack Dwain Joiner.

Carolyn is survived by her mother Margaret Tidwell of the home, her daughter Megan Lopez and husband Frankie of Sherman, her brothers Jeff Joiner of Calera and Craig Joiner of Homestead, OK, her grandson Gabriel Joel Lopez and granddaughter Adriana Elena Lopez both of Sherman. Her cousins Pamela Johns and husband Ricky, Kimberly Nanyes and husband Robert both of Saginaw, TX, Penny Brister and husband David of Glen Rose, TX.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held on Saturday March 20th at 10:00 AM at Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, Durant. Condolences can be made online at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
